Harvard Extension School provides graduates and their guests with the opportunity to pre-purchase a boxed lunch for consumption between the Morning Exercises (which is predicted to end around 12:30 PM) and the HES Commencement Ceremony (for which we ask you to arrive by 1:30 PM).
Purchased lunch tickets for graduates and their guests will be picked up when they collect their ticket packet. Graduates can expect information about ticket packet pickup in the days leading up to Commencement 2026.
Important:
On Commencement Day, in order to collect a pre-purchased boxed lunch, graduates and guests must present their lunch tickets at the Lunch Tent at the Harvard Museum of Natural History Courtyard (26 Oxford St., Cambridge, MA 02138).
Lunch pickup is inside the ticketed ceremony area. If you buy more lunches than you have guest tickets, you’ll need to step out of the ceremony space to hand off the extra lunches, then re-enter with your ticket.

All boxed lunches must be pre-purchased and cannot be purchased on Commencement Day.
The deadline to purchase lunches is Monday, April 27th at 11:45 p.m. ET.
